Peta Education: Stimulus Response
This activity includes a video, worksheets and a teacher's guide. It features pigs, hens and calves following the five steps of the stimulus-response pathway, demonstrating thus their mental abilities. Students learn to distinguish between primary and secondary senses in animals. Then they can use the information on animal behaviour to debate about experimentation and factory farming.
